Covid Kits

In response to the covid-19 pandemic, we are distributing health and hygiene kits filled with items like toothbrushes, socks, feminine care products, masks, and hand sanitizer, to protect our neighbors and prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

Haircuts

Santa Cruz Free Clinic offers a free haircutting service for men and women in the homeless community in Santa Cruz. The homeless community has been dehumanized for numerous reasons; one being their appearance. This dehumanization deteriorates the mental health of the homeless community and perpetuates the cycle of houselessness. Providing this healthcare service is the first step in aiding their mental health and lowering barriers in connecting the homeless community with society.

Foot-Washing Clinic

Santa Cruz Free Clinic has created a foot-washing clinic to help homeless individuals receive care for their feet. The foot-washing clinic aims to promote foot health among the homeless community in Santa Cruz while giving volunteers the opportunity to give back to their community. Clients will have their feet cared for through a washing process and they will also be provided with information about foot health and where to find a local doctor.
